Ecovillage at Currumbin

Sustainable On-site waste water treatment and recycling is the driving force behind Eco-village at Currumbin, with the objectives of maximizing environmental protection and minimizing the negative effects impact on the surrounding environment and within the community itself.

After intensive local and international research, Landmatters awarded the water treatment and recycling plant contract to W.J. Pratt Pty Ltd.  We will work in a close relationship with Innoflow (NZ), the Australasian agents for Orenco systems, the patented Advantex textile filters, and Memcor, a division of Siemens which provide state of the art micro filtration water polishing for tertiary treatment.

Consuption data across all buildings using this wastewater treatment plant will be captured and analyised to ensure that the water cycle model can be verified and refined for use in future developments.
