Aquatic Centre Case Studies

Walter J Pratt Pty Ltd have designed and constructed the water treatment system for Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre.   This is our most significant pool water treatment project. The pool consists of an 80 metre competition/diving pool with movable floor, 25 metre lap pool, and hydrotherapy pool with movable floor, leisure pool with wave machine and two spa pools. The treatment system uses processes including, Filtration, ozone generation, activated carbon filtration and chlorine disinfection. The project spanned over 18 months to deliver clean and clear water to the international competition pool.

Walter J Pratt Pty Ltd have designed and constructed the water treatment system for Lloyd Elsmore Leisure Centre in Pakuranga, New Zealand.   The complex boasts a new 25m FINA compliant pool, a new toddler splash pool, a new learn to swim pool, a new spa, less noise to acoustic separation of pools, and better water quality with fewer chemicals.  The treatment process includes Ultra Fine Filtration (UFF), chlorine dosing with Building Management System control functions.

Waitakere Aquatic Centre - is one of Australasia's finest integrated "Lifestyle Centres".  The centre consists of a 50-metre competition pool, a dive pool, a wave pool, a hydrotherapy pool, 2 spa pools, a toddler pool and a learner pool. WJP provided sand filtration and UV disinfection for the complex's treatment requirements.
