The Great Southern Oceans exhibit is now open to the public.
Walter J Pratt Pty were contracted to perform the Life Support Systems (LSS) for the seals,sea lions, penguins and pelican exhibits. This $40 million dollar exhibit encompasses a state of the art treatment system.
We take this opprtunity to congratulate all stakeholders and particuarly our site team headed up by Bryson Hales and Wayne Elliot. This is one of the most difficult construction project we have been involved with however the end result is nothing short of amazing.

Environmental
Walter J Pratt Pty Ltd enter 2008 in an extremely exciting atmosphere of growing our environmental endeavors.
We are forging ahead with our reputation of providing unique solutions to water management problems. Our blackwater plants in office buildings remain the only proven solution currently on display in Australia.
We have assisted many companies/corporations achieve their Green Star ratings or environmental goals and have enjoyed working through the challenges that this work brings with it.
Our R&D department is working on further enhancements and efficiencies based on the knowledge we have gained from our first few projects. We will be utilizing this knowledge on other building types such as hospitals and Shopping Centres. Our charter is to provide clients with stable latest technology based solutions supported by ongoing service.
Our current environmental projects are:
- CBW Office complex A Complete blackwater reclaim plant servicing toilet flushing and cooling towers on 2 office towers
- ANZ Global Headquarters A complete blackwater reclaim plant servicing toilet flushing and cooling towers on the new ANZ HQ in Docklands
- The Gauge - A complete blackwater reclaim plant for the new Lend Lease HQ
- Burpengarry (QLD) new blackwater polishing plant for the use throughout the municipality
- Cranbourne Aquatic Centre The Most water efficient aquatic centre of its type in Australia
This year our focus is going to be on stabilizing the South Australian office, Sydney Office and Brisbane office as these states will follow the lead that Melbourne has achieved over the last 5 years.
Our swimming pool filtration backwash reclaim plant has now been commercialized and we will be offering these system as retrofits or new builds. Please contact us for a powerpoint presentation.
